TekDek Software, Inc. ("Tekdek," "we," "us") runs this website, tekdek.app, and Tekdek Connect at tekdek.app/connect. This policy explains what information we collect through them, how we use it, and the choices you have. Information held in a Tekdek software account or in the Tekdek Onsite app is covered by the Tekdek software Privacy Policy.
1. Information you give us
Demo and contact requests. When you request a demo, contact us, or ask for an integration, we collect what you enter in the form: your name, email address, phone number, company, city, trade or topic, the number of jobs you run, whether you are already a customer, your ABC Supply branch if you give it, and the message you write.
Blog updates. If you subscribe to blog and press updates, we collect your email address.
Tekdek Connect project requests. When a homeowner or property manager asks for help with an exterior project, we collect the project type, timing, ZIP code, name, email address, optional phone number, and the project details they describe.
Tekdek Connect contractor applications. When a contractor applies to join the network, we collect the company name, contact name, work email, phone number, primary trade, service area, and any website and company details provided.
Email. If you email us, we keep the message and your address so we can reply.
2. Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs when a page is requested: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time. We use these to run and secure the site.
This website does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not use tracking pixels on it. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when a page loads.
3. How we use information
We use the information above to reply to you, schedule and run demos, send the updates you asked for, review integration requests and contractor applications, follow up on project requests, keep the site working, and protect it from spam and abuse.
Tekdek Connect. A project request comes to the Tekdek team first. It is not sent to a contractor automatically. We follow up with you by email, and if you choose to go ahead with an introduction, we share the project and contact details that contractor needs to get in touch.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site, and only so they can provide that service to us:
FormSubmit delivers form submissions to our inbox by email and screens them for spam, which can include a reCAPTCHA check provided by Google. Airtable stores demo requests in the customer-relationship database our sales team works from. Vercel hosts the website. Google Fonts serves the typeface.
We share Tekdek Connect project details with a contractor only as described in section 3. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
The site links to other services, including the Tekdek software at client.tekdek.app, LinkedIn, Instagram, and the sources cited in our articles. Those services have their own privacy practices.
5. How long we keep it
We keep inquiries, requests, and applications for as long as we need them to follow up and to maintain reasonable business records, and for as long as the law requires. Blog subscribers stay on the list until they ask to be removed.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of, correct, or delete information you submitted through this site, and you can unsubscribe from blog updates at any time, by emailing support@tekdek.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under applicable law, such as access, correction, deletion, and portability. Contact us to use them and we will respond as the law requires.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not put payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive information in these forms.
8. Children
This website is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site and our services change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised, and we will give additional notice where a change is significant.
